APHEA Presents the First Excellence Recognition Certificates in Milan

APHEA marked an important milestone in Milan by presenting its first Excellence Recognition certificates to three Italian universities for their commitment to educational excellence in public health.

APHEA is continuing to expand its portfolio of quality assurance services in response to the evolving needs of public health education and training institutions.

As part of this work, APHEA is collaborating with Italian Schools of Public Health on a pilot Excellence Recognition initiative aimed at recognising educational excellence.

A significant first milestone was marked during the 1st European Congress on Education and Training in Public Health, held in Milan from 15 to 18 July 2026, where the first Excellence Recognition certificates were presented to:

- University of Pavia, Pavia
- University of Pisa, Pisa
- Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, Milan

We warmly congratulate the first recipients on this achievement!

These first recognitions mark the beginning of a broader developmental process. APHEA will continue to pilot, evaluate and refine the approach, with further information to be shared as this exciting work progresses.
